Wave staffing the key event staffing requirements for conferences in 2025:

  1. Staff-to-attendee ratio: Wave work on a 35:1 ratio.

  2. Diverse roles: At minimum, we think that conferences will need staff for guest services, room preparation, and communication with guests/visitors.

  3. Technical skills: Wave Staff are proficient with basic computer functions and software like Microsoft Office / Google Works

  4. Availability: Wave Staff are able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

  5. Training: Wave Staff must complete required training, both online and in-person, well before the conference begins.

  6. Specialisation: Wave staff can best represent your brand and relate to attendees based on experience and local Oxfordshire knowledge.

  7. Problem-solving abilities: Wave Staff are capable of handling unexpected issues and be team players.

  8. Technology proficiency: With the integration of virtual and hybrid elements, Wave staff are comfortable with emerging conference technologies

When planning for conference staffing, it's crucial to consider the size and scope of the event, determine specific staffing needs, and allocate an appropriate budget that accounts for potential additional staff hours.
