Why Gordon Ramsay would yell at us (and why we’d probably deserve It)

If Gordon Ramsay ever walked into Wave Staffing, we suspect his reaction would be… colourful.


Not because our service is bad (he’d have to admit we run a tight ship), but because our 'menu' might give him a heart attack. We do, perhaps, offer too many dishes.


In Ramsay’s world, too many menu options signal confusion. “If you try to please everyone,” he’d bark, “you end up pleasing no one.” And he’d be right — at least in part.


When every service from event staffing, generator hire, bar management, car parking management, food and drink service, and even classic mini moke hire sits side-by-side, it’s easy to wonder what the main course really is.


But here’s the twist: our so-called “too many services” aren’t about overindulgence.

They’re about flexibility.


When clients plan an event — whether a luxury dinner in the Cotswolds, a corporate launch in Oxford, or a private celebration at home — they rarely want to coordinate five different suppliers.


They want someone who sees the whole picture, understands the rhythm of an event, and can cover every moving part with consistency and polish.


That’s what Wave Staffing does.


We may make Gordon Ramsay roll his eyes at our “buffet of services,” but we’d also like to think we’d win him over once he saw them in action.


Because while a fine dining menu needs focus, an event needs versatility — and we’re not afraid to be the team that delivers everything it needs, seamlessly, under one name.


So yes, maybe we’d upset Gordon Ramsay. But we’d also challenge him to see that in events, variety isn’t chaos — it’s precision, dressed up for the occasion.
